Answering questions on a Sunday

So, here is my attempt to answer the Proust Questionnaire I saw on Chloe's blog. It seems hard, I'm not very good at answering straight questions. But, as with Chloe, this also serves to conceal the lack of inspiration to write anything else.

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
Being all alone in the world.

Where would you like to live?
In London, but maybe not forever. But I'd like to try and see if it matches my expectations.

What is your idea of earthly happiness?
When the dreams you had that you never thought could come true finally come into life - and this DOES happen! (I have to believe ;)

To what faults do you feel most indulgent?
Being self-centered, critical, not making as much effort as I could...(I'm full of faults)

Who are your favourite heroes/heroines of fiction?
Siddharta - I can't think of anyone else.

Who are your favourite characters in history?
I don't think I have a favourite but I can't forget the portuguese explorers in the 15th and 16th centuries and how brave they were to sail out and find new territories when people still thought the earth was flat and they would fall from it at the edge of the sea...What they did afterwards is something else.

Who are your favourite heroines in real life?
Every woman is a heroine because inside of us there's a strenght than can get us through everything - I can't believe I'm being so "cliché-ist".

Your favourite painter?
Gustav Klimt and his amazing colours :)

Your favourite musician?
This truly wouldn't be fair, I can't choose my favourite.

The quality you most admire in a man?
Inteligence, understanding, manly qualities.

The quality you most admire in a woman?
Inner strenght, subtleness, womanly qualities. (the differences must be cherished)

Your favourite virtue?
Of mine? My sense of humor. In general? Self-confidence - in rational doses.

Your favourite occupation?
Writting, listening to music, reading, watching animal behaviour ;)

Who would you have liked to be?
A dancer in the 1920s - I don't know why I came up with this...

What a wonderful list...these things tell us so much about ourselves and about those we care about.
A dancer in the 20s...what fun! :)

Cathy: that's probably why it's a little hard to do, isn't it? he he, yes, it sounds fun! :)

I dont like to be too revealing and i think there is a sinister underscore behind these questions (I mean by the guy who wrote not you or Chloe) so Im not aswering and I am hiding underneath a black cape and face mask

Eusoh: Maybe you're right, Proust was kind of a genious, who knows how this quiz appeared? Anyway, whatever you answered, we wouldn't jugde you. :)

don't listen to Nevets, he sees sinister everywhere.

and watching animal behaviour is a strange but wonderful pastime. How do you do it?

Connie: thank you, that's so nice of you to say. Yes, the costumes were lovely at the time. I always had a bit of a fascination for that decade :)

Madelyn: I do believe in that: there's so many stories about woman and what they bare and go through...it's truly amazing. I hope you have a great sunday too.

Chloe: it's nothing much - I watch my dog and the cats outside and I don't get tired. It can be entertaining, especially when my dog dreams - he twists and turns, makes strange faces. Animal programs on Tv can do the trick as well. lol

What a great list. A dancer in the 20s ... that would be amazing. They wore stunning costumes. Have a great week, take care, Meow

I don't see anything you could envy in any dancer of the 20s: you'll surely look the same misterious in those clothes and sceneries, plus you have a brain.

Perfect answers BTW.

Meow: It probably wouldn't be as fascinating as in films but I'd give it a go. Have a great week yourself :)

Chris: Why don't you? Or are you too busy signing autographs? ;)

Day: Yes, this is a hard quiz but I guess what matters is that you think about it a little and give it a go. Take care :)

Omara: oh, you're too nice :) I'm blushing. Thank you. Perhaps it's the change of scenery I'd enjoy the most :)
