All that talk about pancakes reminded me of a cartoon (or is it comic book - I'm not sure) I used to read when I was little, called Petzi. He was a fisherman, I mean, a fisherbear who was absolutely crazy about pancakes, as you can see here... in this case, according to the french version, it's not pancakes but crêpes, of course...
His friends included other animals connected to the sea: a walrus, sea-turtles, a pelican...I remember them always being very busy, first constructing Petzi's boat (the pelican kept the hammer and the nails inside his beak), then worried about storms in the Gulf of Biscay.
Do you remember Petzi?
Don't think I ever remember seeing Petzi ... maybe he never made his way to Australia. I'm sure he was a lot of fun, though. Take care, Meow

ReplyDeleteI think he was created in Denmark and he probably never left Europe, so it'd be impossible for all you girls from the various parts of the world to know him. But he was cute :)
