I absolutely promise I won't talk about work today, despite that being the only thing on my mind, sadly. I'm a slave, just like Britney Spears once said.
So what else is going on in the world? Oh, the Champions League is back tomorrow. This might seem like nothing but it's nice to know that I'll have something interesting (hopefully) to watch when I get home - it only works if you like football, I'm afraid.

"Sometimes you see beautiful people with no brains. Sometimes you have ugly people who are intelligent, like scientists. Our pitch is a bit like that" - only José Mourinho to come up with something like this. Despite his poor english, I must say I truly admire him and he knows what he's talking about, although that might not be too obvious in this sentence. But seriously he's got some amazing gifts in motivating people and teams - I wish I had half the gift he's got with people and I have a degree (almost).

To wrap it up, some lyrics :)
Skylark, have you anything to say to me?
Won't you tell me where my love can be?
Is there a meadow in the mist
where someone's waiting to be kissed?

Skylark, have you seen a valley green with spring
where my heart can go a journeying
over the shadows and the rain
to a blossom covered lane?

And in your lonely flight
haven't you heard the music in the night, wonderful music,
faint as a will o' the wisp, crazy as a loon,
sad as a gypsy serenading the moon.

"Skylark" - k.d. Lang - from the "Midnight in the garden of good and evil O.S.T."

Liverpool v Benfica...hmmm

Arsenal v Real Madrid (Arsenal have no defenders available!)

Don't have satellite TV anymore can't watch Liverpool's game live
:( because they're showing some team from North London playing some little Spanish team that comes from Madrid on terrestial TV instead.

Madrid v Arsenal tonight is my match of preference. The gunners still have some quality and can cause an upset. Come on Henry

Cathy: I don't know her that well but I like what I know. I'll try to explore it a little more :)

FB: I was just watching the game. I don't think Liverpool were at the game at all, they didn't do anything much, apart from defending. I think Liverpool have all the chances of turning the result. That little team from Madrid must be in really bad shape or maybe Arsenal were really good.

Madelyn: Wonderful suggestions! Is that what people call retail therapy or is it something cosmetic? I don't know!

Connie: I'm glad you like it, it's great when things you write bring a smile to other people. Take care of you too.

Valerene: Sometimes stress is too much but in the next day things get better. I see chocolate is a popular suggestion ;)

Esuoh: Turns out you were absolutely right. Do you like Arsenal or is that patriotism?

Day: you're right, there's many occasions when we don't listen and sometimes we don't want to listen, which is worse.
