Me

(well, not really me, don't be mislead by the title)

Despite having had a nice day, I find myself a little under the weather. Perhaps I'm tired, perhaps it's just a "natural" sadness that comes and goes - is there such thing?
Nothing too serious but I take this chance to dwell on a sad song I've been thinking about and reflects how I feel about my own unhappiness/sadness - may it be temporary or permanent. (No intentions to get you depressed whatsoever, forgive me ;)

"And it is me who is my enemy
Me who beats me up
Me who makes the monsters
Me who strips my confidence

And it's me who's too weak
And it's me who's too shy
To ask for the thing I love
And it's me who's too weak
And it's me who's too shy
To ask for the thing I love

I am walking on the bridge
I am over the water
And I'm scared as hell
But I know there's something better"

Oh is it a postcard? I didn't know, I just got it from gettyimages. I added a caption saying it isn't me, in case people think so.

Connie: thanks, I do feel better. Take care of yourself!

Day: That's precisely what I meant. Not that everything is our fault but we all have some degree of power.

Sometimes it is good to feel a bit sad, because it gets us to think about things (things in the larger sense, as in 'life's questions' type of things). Enjoy it, if I may use that verb, and see where it takes you! :-)

Kimananda: of course. As people usually say in psychology, crisis is development ;) I didn't question myself much yesterday though...maybe next time he he

that is such a nice picture.

our minds have weird ways of working. sometimes people don't understand why they think in a certain way. sometimes there are so many reasons to feel down that we don't even know where to begin the story. i hope you feel better tomorrow.

I hope you're feeling better!

Valerene: We are very complicated puzzles :) But that is great! If we were as plain as a white sheet, it wouldn't be fun at all.

Cathy: Thanks, I'm feeling good.

Maddy: Oh thanks, you're making me blush. Fear stinks in general ;)

if you do know there's something better, there's no need for alarm. i think you are going to seek it out eventually, no matter how afraid or shy you are. "You" here as in "all of us"
