Achilles here with Thethis, trying to heal his heel (wow, read that out loud!)

Brazil 0 - Portugal 2

ahahahahahahahahahahahaha :))))))))))))))

I'm glad something good happened today, I was so restless during the day. I turned my room upside down looking for some stickers I knew I had but couldn't find, then I went to the hairdressers' and it was pouring rain (it hadn't rained for centuries) and then the hairdresser didn't do her job very well - I'm not surprised since she was cutting my hair and laughing at the soap opera at the same time. And now my head looks like a giant egg. I can't be unfair, there was something else that happened: I had a nice dinner with my friend C. and we took some crazy photographs of our haircuts (no, don't ask, you won't see them because she wouldn't let me!)

I also need to finish what I'm writing asap, as it's making me paranoid and completely detached from the real world. I have an Achilles heel that should prevent me from writing - I get carried away. Also, as I try to make my writing as close as possible to reality, sometimes the similarities with things that 'really' happen are freaky and make me wonder if I have special powers of premonition.

My song of the day has to be....
I feel in a devil of a mood,
Being instilled by the devil
Wicked heart brings me so much pain
And pleasure, I can't keep away
Je suis totalement obsédée
Doucement, s'il te plait...
You're the devil, but you're also an angel
"Devil Mood" by Smoke City
When I started blogging and had to choose a nickname I did it a bit randomly, it was a song I liked and identified with. But now I'm really thrilled I chose it because it couldn't have more to do with me :)

  1. I was so surprised to see the picture you posted because just last night,I wrote a poem which had the words 'achille's heel'.
As regards the hair--it will always grow back ;-)
As regards the song-wish you had included a sound track.have never heard it.

  2. i think you are a natural born writer. you admitted becoming paranoid and detached, that's a sure sign.

  5. PS: I'm finding that in this internet world, coincidences never cease! Amazing. Wish I could post the song here.

Chloe: You think so? hehe Perhaps you're right, writers tend to admit they're detached creatures.

Novel Nymph: Thanks for that. The lyrics reminded me of when you call me devil-angel ;)

Niall: Don't worry about it! What's more funny is that I find that description of me to be quite a compliment - I don't know but perhaps other people wouldn't like it. I do. The angel part...I'm not sure. What's wrong with England?

  8. It's SO funny to me to read the hair cut part of this post, because I know your pain AND I had my driver's lisence photo taken before my hair had time to recover.

Yesterday, I was waiting in line and had to show this ID, and my friend said, "It's remarkable how egg-shaped your head is in that picture. In person, you don't look at all like an egg."
