ahhhhhhh

I watched this film at the weekend...

Delightful, as one would say back then. It really made me laugh, except for the screams. There is always a lot of screams in old films. Women are always hysterical and Men are always composed and strong. ha.

On other notes:
I'm living without any HOT WATER! The boiler needs replacing. The house is a mess. Help!

  3. Who needs hot water when you have Technicolor?!
    ;-)

I haven't seen any old films in ages (part of not having a t.v.), but I miss them. I can see what you mean about the screaming though...even in the trailer, it was entirely too much.

  4. Vesper: It's a nightmare. Almost like camping in a really bad place.

    Madelyn: It was Charade.

Kim: They probably mixed the screams all together. lol I watched this on the computer, so you don't need a tv to go back in time.

  5. No HOT WATER?! Horrors! You have my sympathies . . . I have a deep appreciation for indoor plumbing and hot, running water. At least it's not the middle of winter . . . LOL!

  8. Neith: Fortunately today it was fixed and I'm able to have a decent shower. Brrr.

  9. That was a really fun clip. If I had a couple of hours free of working and wondering how to write just a short, fun post like you do instead of a dismal, drawn out affair like I do, I’d watch the whole movie! It looked really good. So you simply must tell me your secret—how to post light and fluffy not stuffy! In fact, I insist...your secret in detail. It’ll be for the good of humanity. Think of it that way! ;-)
About your water breaking, I mean your broken boiler, ditto violet’s comment. Too clever!

  10. Oh Missalister, your posts are great! They're slow food, to appreciate with time; mine are sort of a light snack.
I've always been known for keeping it simple. My teachers complained that I didn't develop my answers enough in tests.

Phish: Heeeyyy! You watched it twice in a row? It must be good.
