Northern Lad

I was listening to "From the Choirgirl Hotel" by Tori Amos today. It was a very cloudy day and I was feeling a little sleepy. I hadn't listened to this album for quite a while and it reminded me of autumn, so I had an autumn afternoon.
Northern Lad is my favourite song from the album, it's about a relationship that went wrong. She once had a northern lad, "well not exactly had" because "he moved like the sunset". It's a really sad song, that many people can relate to (myself included) and it's also beautiful, of course. Then Tori says "Girls you've got to know when it's time to turn the page, when you're only wet because of the rain." Sometimes we must learn to let go.

Thanks, the post was like the song: it's really sad but it's got some advice to the future, so it's not a complete waste of time. Not that being sad is a waste of time (well, maybe it is!), I like it sometimes...hehehe
Suddenly, my blog became a lot more human, thanks :)
