Because the line between
Wrong and right
Is the width of a thread
From a spider’s web
The piano keys are black and white
But they sound like a million colours in your mind
(Katie Melua)
Best piece of lyrics I've heard in a long time. Thank God for these pearls that make me less mad with the world.

Humph. I am so angry today
actually and wondering if i have
the nerve to post about it -
or the lack of heart.

Lovely rainbow.

we can't have any more of the world making us mad. We must be the ones to make the world mad.

I turned the song right on on my beloved iPod. Love Katie Melua..

For the angry ones (which includes me, a few times a day...), perhaps we should set up an angry blog, where we post the dregs of whatever bothers us, then we can batter away at it?

it's looking at the world different in order to make sure that we see positive things.

I love Scholiast's idea of an angry blog...I'd definitely participate. We could have this song on our angryblog official songlist. :-)

Sophie: Why not? How about some angry poetry to express yourself? I think maybe you should...

Chloe: lol that's a great way of putting it! And you're right!

Scholiast: Ok, I'll have to direct my anger to a certain topic, sometimes it feels just difuse...But it's a good idea!

Day: I'm trying, sometimes I can, other times it's harder.

KImananda: The official song would have to be angrier, this one is just a little critical but still sweet. It'd have to be something by Hole or such hahah

I only recenly discovered Katie Melua ... she is wonderful. Hope you were able to get less mad.
The rainbow is beautiful.
Just reading over your past few posts ... lovely gift from Cathy. It is always fun receiving surprises in the mail.
I was saddened to hear of Ian Thorpes' retirement. I thought he had a few more years in him. Hope our Aussie swim team can do well without him.
Hope you have a fabulous week.
Take care, Meow

Isn't it cool how a song can do that? I'm immersing myself in gloom and doom at the moment though. The world's making me sad, not mad.

Cathy: It is!

Meow: I'm back to non-anger me :) I love Katie's music - Piece by Piece is an excelent album. I'm sure the Australian team will continue to be top - the girls are excelent :)

Stephanie: I don't know what's worse: being sad or mad...probably sad because it's more discouraging...cheer up, girl! :)
