Cheers!

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you!!

Have you got many wishes for the new year?

Although I don't have anything objective to ask for, I profoundly wish for something...some direction, some purpose, some objectivity, yes. Above all, I wish for peace of mind, for peace of soul...for some rest, but not in the physical sense of the word.

I can't pretend that I wasn't blessed in many ways this year, but it wasn't exactly happy for me, as much of my hope was lost. And without hope we're nothing.

2 songs for this weekend of change:

A long December and there's reason to believe

Maybe this year will be better than the last

(Counting Crows - A long December)

Our day will come and we'll have everything

We'll share the joy, falling in love can bring

(Jamie Cullum - Our day will come (version of the original)

I want to come visit you just
because you are wonderful
and your house looks beautiful.

Why are there mini clothespegs on
your glass?
Are they wishes?

and what is a life without wishes
- without dreams....without love...

Thanks, dear Sophie :)
This is my Granma's house but mine is quite nice too hehhe
Those clothepegs were in the napkins holding a little plant for Christmas dinner - someone was artistic and decided to put it on the border of the glass. lol
But yes, they could be wishes :)

devil mood,
one of my wishes this year is for all of your hope to be restored... and for you to find purpose, direction, and peace of mind.. i know what lost hope is...
and i know what it is like to recapture it back... ,not all at once ,but piece by piece

i will whisper a prayer for you... (smiles)

I wish you all the things you wish for, along with all of the things that you don't know yet that you wish for. :-)

And I want to wish you thanks for the lovely pin and ornament...as I won't have time to write a proper e-mail for a couple of days. :-)

Finally figured out where to leave the comments in this post!I agree with you one hundred percent that Hope is a vital life force. One of my favourite movies is "Shawshank redemption" whose tagline is "Fear can hold you prisoner.Hope can set you free".
Happy New Year.HOPE this year proves fulfilling for you.

Hey,

Found you through google blog search because you mentioned Counting Crows. I did some writing about the band recently which I’m putting up on my blog in 5 parts.

Check it out if you want to:
