Completely random post

Just a quick post to say 'hi', to give you more photos, while I'm watching a new show called "Brothers & Sisters" - it's so exciting! It has Ally McBeal (oops, I mean Calista Flockheart), Sally Field, Rachel Griffits, Balthazar Getty, Ron Rifkin, Tom Skerritt --- I didn't know some of the names but their faces are very recognisable.

All the men in this series have dark-hair. Is it a trend? They're all very similar.
But I'm enjoying the episode, it's highly dramatic!

This is from a café downtown. A café very different from the typical café here. It's very pleasant.

Sally Field is the best! And it's nice to see Calista in a dramatic role. Oh, they're playing KT Tunstall on the show :)

This is from a bookstore downtown too. I'd probably seen too many books at this point...things started to lose focus.

Still, Amazon is my favourite way to get books. Much cheaper and so much more variety. This arrived today - Vesper recommended it and now that I've browsed to it, it seems even more wonderful than I expected. I LOVE the smell of books!

That's my Mom's favorite show! It comes on right after Desperate Housewives over here.

Holychaos: I have meaning to get that one too, but I read the first chapter and had my doubts about whether I'd like it or not. A bit like you, I suspect ;)

Day: Thank you. I think I'm lucky with my angles, simply that :)

PS: hehhe good! Oh, you recommended God of Small Things to Niall - that's one of my favourite books ever!! I've read it a long time ago but I adored it :D

Niall: I hope it's a pleasant experience, these journeys through my pictures. Like I said to PS - that's one of my favourite books! I really, really loved it :)

HI Dharmabum!

Vesper: I can't wait to start it but I'm reading two at the same time at the moment. Hope to get to it soon :)

Eric: I liked it yesterday but it seemed shorter than other shows - I wanted more! Maybe because it was good!

okay, if I could take pictures like you... and set out in my neighborhood... this is what you might see...

lovely picture of the strip mall... would you like to try our new reatuarant called " Two Guys and Burgers?" doesn't that sound lovely??? hehe

or down the road... is a picturesque view of another wonderful storage building.... for all the "stuff" that we do not have room for in our homes...

hmmm...sounds so very interesting doesn't it??? hehe

just kidding...

there are some things around here that aren't so... suburbanized...

somewhere....

I love the photo of the books!

I would frame that one and put it into a
library.

The book...fall on your knees...

made me fall on my knees and start to
cry.

Holychaos: There's beautiful things in suburbia too, or maybe I've been watching too many movies ;) You don't have to be in the middle of a crazy town to take good photos. Those walks you told us about, looking at the trees and the flowers, they sound perfect to me! And I'd go to that restaurant, if they have vegetarian food :)

Sophie: Oh, that's wonderful. I want to read it even more now. Glad you liked the crazy photo :)
