Language

I like languages, I've always had a thing for languages.
When I was a little girl, I'd speak senseless words pretending I knew how to speak english, I'd just blurt something with a strange accent.
Now my path of "career" took me to different places but languages are still really interesting to me: the way the same letter is pronouced in so many different ways, in different languages, in different parts of the word, with different associations. And the history behind it, have you thought of that? Why do some languages die, how they create other ones...What are the differences between languages that derive from the same origin? How did that happen?
I'm still hoping someone will teach me stuff like that some day...:)

Hey, thanks for coming here! lol
I never investigated much on this interest of mine but everything that I get from reading and hearing stories is really interesting.
I was at the bbc web-site today and you can learn a little bit of many languages there. I was trying to capture the differences between Bosnian, Serbian, Croatian and Slovenian lol but they weren't very perceptible. (yes, I was bored and didn't have anything else to do) :)

But that's natural because english is everywhere, you don't really "need" to learn another language. And of course you speak english well (at least from my point of view!), you use difficult words, metaphors...and you re-wrote a classic in modern english on your blog eheh... you're a natural ;)

Obrigada!

Yeah, sorry about that, Jon. My friend wrote in portuguese and I thought it'd be polite to answer back the same way. I might have to start posting in the 2 languages..what a mess this blog is gonna be!

WoW!!! That was impressive for a first attempt! I think the first one is more accurate, I don't know what you mean by the second...
Tell me something..your keyboard doesn't have things like this ~ or this ´, does it? ;)

It might say that, a little bit, I think it means that what your saying is insignificant. I'm not exactly sure myself! lol
Well, anyway, it's not, it was a valuable effort :)

Well, you can't learn out of nothing so...it was a good start.

Yeah, you're right. :)
I've never seen so many comments in one post! I think I'm gonna get off the internet, I need to study a little. See ya! :)

No need to apologize and studying is definitely no fun :/
