Soft spots

I used to think lyrics were the main part of a song, or at least what made songs special to people. That was until one day I found myself crying my heart out listening to the main theme of Braveheart, a simple flute and no lyrics. I still get emotional every time I listen to that song, there's something about it that makes my knees go weak.

Yes, it's totally different listening to a song on the whole or trying to get the strings and all that. I think our lives could do with a soundtrack sometimes :)

i'm sure the soundtrack of my life wouldn't be a good one! lol.

you watched braveheart again? it was a nice movie. cried when i watched it last time too. when they shouted "freedom, freedom!!!" it made me feel like a bird that was free but in pain cos of everything they had to go thru. sigh...the price we would pay for freedom!

Actually, I only had the guts to watch it once, I cried like a mad woman, it's really overwhelming. But I have that tune in the computer and sometimes I listen to it.
