Dreaming

(I love Magritte - Reconnaissance infinie)

I had tons of dreams last night: about something I was watching on tv, about a stormy sea, an old friend I haven't seen for a while...My last dream was with someone I can't really define. It was probably a person in the body of someone else - I get them all mixed up very frequently. Has it ever happened to you - to associate people in a way that in dreams or inconsciously you can't distinguish them? It probably hasn't...I know it's really strange.
In the dream, he said something so lovely that made me want to cry. I can't remember exactly but I felt really touched.

"I'd build a road of gold, just to have some dreaming
Dreaming is free" - Blondie. (there's also a really great Smashing Pumpkins version of the song)

I hate dreaming; good or bad. I don't know why.

LOL Steve: playing pool in nazi germany with a black best friend - that's amazing :) But it seems like the same thing: our perceptions in dreams may not correspond to reality but our feelings reveal us the truth. Other times, the dreams are just the follow-up to our daily lives..it's horrible when you keep working even when we're asleep.

Iwona: Hi! I'm glad you like it. Please come back anytime :)

Cathy: really? I usually enjoy it - there were times in my life when my dreams were the most exciting thing that happened. But still they're always an escape from reality and that can be bad too in some situations.

I think it's the feeling of not being in control I don't like. I am a bit of a control freak, I'm afraid.

Cathy: hmm I'm a bit like that too but I enjoy dreams. Well, there's not much I can do about it either so...I try to make the most of them.

it happens all the time. people assume faces of other people, voices of other people. nothing strange about that!

Hello! Thank you for visiting...I once dreamt in black and white in French with subtitles!

De Chirico's work is another artist I liked following from Magritte...

Chloe: yes, that happens but in this case it's the mix up is constant. it's strange really.

Fb:That must've been an amazing dream! :) I will investigate De Chirico, thanks!
