What have I been up to?

Hmmm I've been crafting this week and knitting...I'm not very good with crafts but I'm learning and maybe I'll get better. You'll see for yourselves soon.
The Autumn seems to have finally sunk in...it rains and I have to wear a coat..and right now I'm sneezing so it must be it!

I've been watching a lot of films: Live Flesh by Almodovar was probably the best one (though predictable, it's Almodovar and the images are great); Punch Drunk Love just got on my nerves so badly I fastforwarded some of it...; What's New, Pussycat was one of the first films Woody Allen wrote and it's fun if you want to watch something really goofy from the 60s. It was a little too goofy for me but I really enjoyed this bit:

A man in a bar comes up to another and asks: Excuse me, haven't you seen me somewhere before?
The other one replies: Hmmm...I can remember the name but I can't remember your face.
lol

Oh good somebody else who din't rate 'Punch Drunk Love' either, I was worried I was the only one!

Finn, I'm glad you think so too (because you're a movie expert)...I thought I didn't like it because I wasn't a good critic of strange films but...I'm glad it's not just me as well!

I remember seeing Punch Drunk Love with a friend, and having a fairly serious disagreement about the main character...I though he had some serious anger issues he would need to work on, and my friend thought otherwise. The movie was o.k., but the conversation was better. Live Flesh is a different story...it's got a special place in my movie soul, actually.

And on a different note what a great yarn stash you've got. :-)

I've not seen 'Pussycat' yet and I'm a huge Woody Allen fan. I think it's because he said that he had a horrible time making it and I can relate to that at the moment.

Cathy: We'll see how it comes out :)

Kim: I admit the movie must have something about it because it made me so mad and aggitated, but I still didn't like it. I had more yarns but they didn't fit the basket ;)

Day: It's absolute nonsense, that's what's funny for me.

Chris: Oh :) Yeah, exactly, his first script, your first script wow...sincronicity! I love Woody too, completely.

I haven't seen Punch Drunk Love, but I'll let you know what I think. The movie I think was highly overrated but everyone else loved was Garden State (ducks and covers head.) Is that your scarf yarn in the pic?

Stephanie: I have Garden State ready to watch over here, I hope I like it...I'll let you know too. Yes, this was my stock a while ago, it's mostly done now, I'm completely addicted :P

Haven't seen any of those films. I guess "What's New Pussycat" should be on my Must See list !!!
Have a great week.
Take care, Meow
