Three

This man was selling roasted chestnuts this afternoon downtown.

Okay, this is a meme that Niall tagged me to do. It's supposed to be funny but it's not coming out that great, so please enjoy another picture from Porto.

3 things you should know about the number '3':
1. It's a sacred number for many religions.
2. The number of houses I've lived in while in Porto.
3. Not much, three is either too much or too little for me, I'm afraid.

3 things that scare me:
1. Rollercoasters.
2. Illness.
3. Loneliness.

3 people who make me laugh:
1. Alistair McGowan and his impressions.
2. A friend of mine from school that always had a way to make me laugh until my belly hurt.
3. Many of my family members and friends, thank goodness.

3 things I love:
1. My lovely, beautiful, magnificent club FC Porto
2. (almost) All kinds of music and the dancing you can do with it.
3. Nature.

3 things I hate:
1. Pollution.
2. Ignorance.
3. Lack of respect for other people.

3 things I don't understand:
1. Quantum physics.
2. Chinese, russian, polish, etc...
3. How Porto's goalkeeper Helton didn't save that ball from Robben :(

3 things on my desk:
1. Postcards.
2. A bar of chocolate called 'Wafer dream" - sounds promising!
3. An array of writing material.

3 things I'm doing right now:
1. At this precise moment? Writing a meme.
2. Listening to a brazilian singer called Ive Mendes.
3. Making a mental list of the teams that went out in the Champions League.

3 things I want to do before I die:
1. Write a novel (thanks for reminding me, Niall) and a good one, of course.
2. Accept the fact that someone might actually love me as much as I love them.
3. Go places, in all kinds of ways.

3 things I can do:
1. Dance non-stop.
2. Take 'ok' photographs.
3. Memorize all sorts of song lyrics, even when I don't want to.

3 Things you should never listen to:
1. Nu-metal.
2. People that approach you on the street and say: "can you spare me a minute?" And you know it's not just a minute they want.
3. A pig getting slaughtered. It's the worst sound in the world.

3 things I'd like to learn
1. How to feel good about myself no-matter-what.
2. More about Astrology - I'm doing this already.
3. More about religion(s), its history and principles.

3 favourite foods
1. Greek food, absolutely. The last thing I ate with honey and cheese still makes my mouth water when I think about it.
2. Lasagna, meatfree :)
3. In general: cheese!

If you're funnier than me, you're tagged!

I might copy you and do this on my blog. do you mind?

What type of club is FC Porto? (is this an old sounding comment??? hehe )

I love roller coasters! R and I went to Universal with the orchestra and had a great time on the rides!

I don't like disrespect for other people either! that is huge with me.

LadyMiss: I will post them today. Hope you enjoy them :)

Chloe: oh, that'd be GREAT. Thanks :)

Stephanie: No, no, thank you!

Dharmabum: The reason why I mentioned physics it's because I'm reading a book that talks about that too, but even if it's directed to the general public, it's still so puzzling :P But thanks!

Niall: I really like football but lately it's been a more quiet passion. I still watch many premiership matches, though. :) Good luck to Derby! Like I said, 3 is somewhat a limited number - so I had to exclude phonebooths and that stupid dance.

Sophie: Oh I really wish you were here today: it's SO sunny, SO warm, it's like we've woken up in the middle of spring :) We would have a ball today, my friend! :)

Holychaos: Today would be perfect, as the weather is fantastic, like I said to Sophie. Of course, you should do this meme! I'll look forward to reading it. And FC Porto is a sports club, especially a football club, or as you say in America, soccer. But it has other sports too.

Nice to get to know you better. Some of it made me smile:-) Some made me think.
All made me understand you a bit more.(a lot like me)

Preeti: I'm glad it was able to do all of that! It wasn't that bad, after all :)

dharmabum said...

yes, it can get quite complicated :)

but my physics teacher (who was/is my favourite teacher) used to tell me that anything in physics can be mad easily understodd - and he used to prove it too...and whats more, he used to tell me, if u can't make a layman understand something, ir probably means u haven't understood it well enough.

have u tried fritjopf capra? what book r u reading now? u cud also try feynemann's lectures - they're simply outstanding.

sorry for the long rant, and if u aren't really interested in physics, but just happened to mention it :)

Dharma: Physics is really far from my area but I stumbled upon it while reading Bill Bryson's Short Story of Nearly Everything, the story of science, in short.
I think I can understand generally the main laws of the subject but isn't it true that these laws don't aplly when we're talking about nuclear and really tiny events? That's why quantum physics emerged, it's almost a different subject, I think.
Maybe one day I'll dedicate myself to understanding it a little better, thanks for the tip!
