Don't try to deny it! I can see right through you...
Over there you can see the biggest Christmas tree in Europe, or so they say. It was in Lisbon last year and, of course, we couldn't stay behind. That's 700 tons of steel there. It will be lit this Saturday.
I always photograph this building and it keeps getting more and more photogenic.
Today it was almost dark, but there was a special kind of light.
Hello there! As you can see, she is not wearing a lot of clothes. It's not exactly cold yet. That's probably why she's smiling.
So this is how things are looking downtown. I'll bring you more once the Christmas lights are on.

:)
Ah, and I *did* miss your photos!
You know, I was just speaking to my sister about heading over next week to downtown San Francisco's Christmas tree lighting ceremony!... already here, wow.
Such gorgeous lighting..the sky reminds me of some of my drawings..it's almost sad..the end of a day...but like the theatre lights going down..the show is about to begin!
Love the statue!..she looks as if she is one of those fairground attractions where you throw something to hit the target and spring the seat so she ends up in the water!
Uau, gorgeous. Não consegui descobrir que cidade é ainda! tenho um feeling que será no norte. Inspiraste-me para tirar umas fotos de lisboa também um dia destes. :)
But I did miss them...how did you know? But that tree is a bit scary!
And you're right, where's the winter weather? Or autumn weather? You mean that it's just Lisbon propaganda, which claims that it's always cold, windy, and rainy in Porto? ;-)
I wonder if she gets EN when she is cold...
:)
yes, i did. and now i'm wondering when i can get to portugal. sigh.
Chloe: I think so too, but what can I do? When it gets to Christmas I'll be sick of it until next year.
Maddie: Thanks, lady, but your photos are much better than mine ;)
R2R: That should be lovely too. Is it near the bridge? They would look nice together :)
Niall: I never saw one of those! They must be really funny.
Violet: Sim, é no Porto. A câmara está tapada pela árvore, senão era mais fácil de reconhecer.
Kim: I really hate those lisbon propaganders badmouthing my city ;P I can't remember the last time it rained, but they're announcing it for tomorrow. The tree should look better once it's lit.
Day: What is EN? I really don't know! Oh! I do! I just deduced...heheh ;)
Dharmabum: You're a sweetie :) Where have you been lately? Roaming?
i love your photos,too!
ooooh Christmas spirit is already in the air. Portugal is sooo beautiful ... through your eyes! :)
oooh lovely! that night makes me tingle, it's so hush-hush...
