I'm looking forward to the New Year. Somehow these days after Christmas seem to be in the bottom of the Calendar and, when we get to the New Year, we're back on top, you know?

Anti-climax, i know what you mean.
one thing i like about Greece is that New Year's is the bigger deal, not Christmas. So, when Christmas is over, you've got something bigger to look forward to.
xxx
lol. Happy Holidays Devil. We'll see you in 2008! :)
I like the idea that we'll be back on top of the calendar again ;)
No crazy celebrating here - I'd much rather see a band on a Tuesday than fight the New Years crowds.
You?
Oh, I've been *so* looking forward to the New Year, too! For the loooooongest time ;) Back on top!
I love new beginnings and I look forward to each new year-kind of like a blank slate. I try to make realistic goals for myself.
Chloe: But you'll have another Christmas (the Orthodox) on January, won't you? Personally, I think New Year's Eve is silly but if one's in the mood for celebrating, the reason doesn't really matter.
Miss Iyer: Oh yes, you'll see me. I hope to see you too!
Stephanie: Yeah me too. Besides it's cold outside, nobody really gathers in the street over here. I bet people spend it in the beach over there, must be nice.
R2R: Oh and you will be on top of the tops :) I'm sure!
Holychaos: That is great! I don't really set goals for myself because after a week or two they're completely forgotten lol
crazy photos are the best!
I love your photos: they are dreamy!
There sure is an anti-climax: I wish New Year's was such a big deal here!

Christmas was fun, and a bit special, as it's the last one where Thor and I'll be able to travel the world and escape.
And I'm liking the photos...my big gift this year was a 'real' camera (a digital slr with all sorts of settings that I have no idea how to use...I'm just using it on all auto for now), and I'm realizing with it how hard it actually is to take photos like the ones I have in my head when I look at a scene.
I like your photos..
It's funny..I never heard the end of the year called the 'Bottom' of the year..once again your turn of phrase and vision is great to behold. :-)
Vesper: I definitely like your crazy photos!
Cathy: Dreamy sounds nice.
Kim: We should have photographic memory to avoid having to read manuals for sophisticated cameras :)
Niall: lol it is the bottom, just like the bottom of the ocean.
