Is Blog World dead?
There's rarely any new posts and even comments are slowing down (not on my blog but all over, I've noticed).
What is going on? *folds arms in a primary teacher kind of gesture*

In case you're wondering, that's a soap. It has loofah inside and it smells (unbearably) of bubblegum. I feel like my house has been invaded by little kids chewing gum.

This year Script Frenzy will be in April and not in June (June was a terrible month, especially for students). So in case you're interested in participating and writing your very own script (be it movie, tv, theatre, cartoons, etc...) you can visit their website www.scriptfrenzy.org
It was a very enjoyable experience last year.

Ah! You were telling the truth about the soap!..At first glance this photo looks like Amber with fossilized seahorse emtombed...
you might need to find some new blogger friends, because blogs are alive and well, and ever expanding.
apparently, the average blogger only blogs for awhile, then moves on. only very few of us stick it out for a couple years or more...
i'm a lifer!
wow its an year so soon. i do remember ur scripting frenzy last year.. good luck again!!
Maybe everyone is suffering from SAD, not enough sunlight, February blahs, oh ya I forgot,it's March sigh...ciao
I know my blog's suffering from LOT (lack of time) ... I get ideas away from home and by the time I'm near a computer it's either gone, or I haven't got time. But I'll be back...
And in the meantime I'm impressed by yours and others stamina and enjoy reading yours! :)
Yikes. That soap looks like a cross section of some biological specimen.
I can't get enough blogging, as I've just gotten broadband. Now I can finally see videoclips. I figured out how to put them on my blog, too. Come see! I put the Bowes Silver Swan Automaton on my blog. It's gorgeous.
Niall: I always tell the truth. Ha.
Vesper: Yes, you are and I'm glad. You're right. I have been "expanding" but I still find it a bit dead. lol I understand how people move on but I still can't imagine killing my blog.
Diyadear: Thanks but I'm not doing it this year. Time sure travels fast, doesn't it?
Rositta: Perhaps...but I have sun here and what about the people in the southern hemisphere? Hmmm...
Scholiast: Thanks ;) I hope you recover from LOT, it's tough.
Julie: Good for you! Innovations in the blog are always exciting, like buying a new gadget or piece of furniture (only better).
In India, summer is starting--so bloggers may be sweating to catch up!;-)
Soap looks indulgingly delicious!
Blogland looks to be alive and kicking to me!
I shall have to check out that script link - thanks :-D
but...but...but...I was away in New Zealand being all team-building-y! I have a lot of catching up to do.
Since you make a real effort to get out there and comment on other people's blogs, even when times are slow, I think you bring a lot of that comment love back around to your own blog. I can tell you it's always very much appreciated :)
PS: If you like bubblegum you'll love this soap (this sounds like a slogan). Over here it's Spring.
Miladysa: Hi,thanks for dropping by. It isn't dead after all :)
Stephanie: Oh I know you were in NZ - you're back? (it seems very odd to say back when you're still so far away lol). I like commenting, it's my job ;)
A classroom of 3rd graders. A teacher and students are gathered around a gigantic, gelatinous blob, BLOG WORLD, in the center of the room.
JILL: Yes, Teacher, it’s dead...
JILL pokes BLOG WORLD with a stick. It twitches slightly. All the other students giggle and laugh.
JILL: I mean no, teacher, I think it’s just hibernating.
More giggling and laughter from the students. JACK, a student, jumps up and down in excitement amidst the students. He waves his hand to get JILL’S attention.
JACK: Hey Jill! Kick it or something!
JILL’S eyes light up. She has an idea. She reaches out to grab BLOG WORLD with intent to shake it silly. TEACHER gasps and rushes toward JILL just as she is about to grab BLOG WORLD with both hands.
TEACHER: Jill! NO!
Teacher grabs Jill from behind pulling both of Jill's arms back while simultaneously shuffling backward with her. When she’s a safe distance from BLOG WORLD she turns Jill around to face her and bends down so that her eyes are level with Jill’s.
TEACHER: Never EVER disturb a creature that’s sleeping, wounded or in hibernation!
But it was too late. All the hubbub had disturbed BLOG WORLD. One of its yellow eyes was open and the other was opening slowly...
Sorry Devil Mood, I'm in one of those moods again, kind of crazy-restless. I've noticed a lull in my action, for sure, and in the action in general. :(
Wow Missalister, you've just written a script example, how appropriate! :) I wonder what will happen to the 'creature' now that it's opened one eye...
I second what Vesper says...blogs are often temporal things, but blogging overall is more stable. I find the problem is I can't be bothered to constantly refresh my blogroll!
i love blogging...slowing down due to the insane time constraints with school. i barely have time to read, let alone write...
i wish i could bring my laptop into the bathtub--it's the only time and place i have for pleasure reading. soon, soon, soon i'll be free for 4 whole months. YAY!
Kim: True. Sometimes I want to stamp by feet like a kid and yell: where are the old bloggers?! lol But we have to move on, I guess.
Chrispito:Yay, I'm looking forward to more Chrispito in the zone :) Better not bring the laptop to the tub, better not!
oh my, look how much I've missed! Nah, the blog world will never die. It's probably just hibernating ;) Good luck at your script frenzy this April. I cant wait to see what you're gonna come up with this time. :)
Miss Iyer: There are some slow days in blogworld but only if we're too lazy to look for something exciting. I'm not really on the scripting mood this year so I'm not frenzying, I'm afraid. Thanks for reading this far :)
