Ever seen a fish-fillet the shape of Portugal?

I have the pleasure to announce my ETSY SUMMER SALE! Yes, capitals an' all. Since it's Summer and it's (suposedly) hot I'm having a 25% discount cut off from my prices. Yes, it's a very nice discount.

So if you want to get pretty...

Scarf doesn't necessarily mean Winter. I'm working on this one right now, it shall be called Arabian Nights. This one, the Pink Delight and the Angel Wing scarves are all made in a light as a feather material and are perfect for Summer evenings or Autumn days. Promise!

Hi, Devil Mood. I hope all is going well for you. Not only have I never seen a fried fish fillet in the shape of Portugal, but I've never seen one so small either. We gluttonous Americans....

Devil girl, no, I haven't until this very day, seen a fish stick in the shape of Portugal. How very, prophetic? Will Portugal soon come into a time of great fishing? LOL

It's a fish stick miracle! ;-)

And I can vouch for your scarves...they're good in all seasons, very elegant. I suggest that all your readers buy one, right now. Or some jewelry...which is also good in all seasons. :-)

Heh, I have a feeling we're all going to be looking for food that looks like other things now.

Sleekpelt: It's probably because this is a fillet made from real fish, not fish made at factories ;)
Sword fish, I think it was.
thanks :)

Gillian: Hello, I heard about your good news through the grapevine (meaning, through other blogs) ;) congrats! I think we've always been a nation of great fishing, after all we have plenty of coast.

Kim: You make very wise suggestions, you do ;) thanks hehe

FB: That wouldn't be so bad! To get over some blog-block or boredom...:)

Shadow: thanks! I could, couldn't I? Except I already ate it months ago (this is an old photo I found). And it's fish, not chicken!

That is truly a Portuguese fish fillet. I thought you Porties always ate fresh fish from the sea though? Mmmm, Portuguese fish. It is the tastiest fish it blew my mind when I was there. Also love how you always have olive oil...

SirBarrett: Hello! I didn't know you had been here before. This is fresh from the sea, not a frozen fish finger or something. You go to the fish-shop and you ask them to filet the fish and then you do the fillets at home.
Oh yes, olive oil is essential over here. :)

Actually, I don't mess much with processed foods -- my wife and I eat a 90 percent vegan diet based mainly on what we get from a local organic farm we own a share of. On the rare occasion that I eat fish, it's definitely not some weird kind that's been shredded to a pulp and then reformed into a square.

But it's usually bigger than the Portugal fish nonetheless!

Sleekpelt: That's great! You actual own a little bit of the organic place? Lucky you :)

We own a share of a community-supported agriculture (CSA) program -- maybe you have them there? It's a fantastic way to eat fresh, real food and support a hard-working local farmer at the same time.

It's a shame your fillet didn't also have an apparition of Mary.

You didn't eat it, did you? Surely, you saved it for posterity, yes? :-D

the fish looks yum. on another note, was the offer to marry you a serious one?

in that case, i will send you a mail with all my 37,876 irritating habits and 3 unbelievable strengths.

:)

It's similar to the Fair Trade organizations, I imagine.

Murat11: I'm sure if I looked hard enough, I'd find Mary there, and the manger, and the cow. But I did eat it a while ago, I was very hungry :D

Phish: Serious? Oh yes, why not? You have 3 strengths? That is very good! I'm not sure I have so many, I'm afraid. :P

So you're a hand crafter?

Devil Mood said...

SirBarrett: Yes, I suppose I am.

Are you sure that's Portugal? Looks like a dead ringer for an Easter Island statue to me. Kind of like discovering a likeness of Jesus on your breakfast toast, idn't it`?

Cheers!

S.O.I. - Yes, it was exactly like that!
