pairs vs trios

Absolutely delicious song. And because I like things to go in pairs, here's another one I'm rediscovering.

I was reading something about how often things come in trios. It was suggested that it was something in the composition of our brains that made it easier for us to remember things in three parts. But surely it can't be any harder in pairs? :)

DM: Thanks for posting these. No getting 'round that amazing Lady Day voice: comes from another world, it seems. I liked the Ronstadt version that came up at the end of Billie's, and I also like Diana Krall's take, too. Wonder how Duffy might run this one?

Ah, Sade. Thank you for taking this one out for a solo showcase, There's so much good Sade stuff, all the greats sometimes run into each other in my head. This is a beauty: hit me like a slow bullet . . .

Paschal, I thought you'd like these. Haven't posted music in a long time.

It's a Goldilocks thing for me: with my memory, a series of ones is no good and threes are pushing it, but pairs are perfect : )

It's weird: a thought of you popped into my head when I was moving an email to a folder, so I acted on it and came here to say Hi!

Miss A: Happy that you acted upon it! Good to hear from you always. Yes, pairs work.
