Honoured!

I'm so honoured today! PS made my afternoon so bright, despite the dark grey clouds above my sky. She e-mailed me the Thinking Blogger Award! Here it is...delivered by her virtual hands ;)

To tell you the truth I don't think I've ever gotten an award in my life. But that's not the reason this meant so much to me. This is supposed to represent a Blogger that makes you think. And it makes me so happy (I mean SO HAPPY) that, with my little ramblings and silly ideas, I make someone think...on a regular basis! It's thrilling and also surprising, as most of the time I just find myself a little on the pathetic side of the tracks.
This gives me hope like every other comment that you leave here saying that you like my posts. Most of the time I'm so surprised, you have no idea.

I also get to give 5 of these awards to other bloggers that make me think. It's not an easy task. Most of your blogs make me think, some are more efficient at making me 'feel', others are the best at inspiring me. I don't know whether these categories should be kept apart....But I'll give the awards to those blogs that make my head twirl more. hehe

- I don't know if this is allowed but I'm giving an award to PS - Just a mother of two again - she has a way of picking up things from life and putting them into magnificently written posts. The amazing thing is...I think she writes about things that we all understand and we've all gone through. It's enough to make us think and laugh a lot sometimes too.

- Vesper's Escape (in a new address) always gives me a lot to think about. This woman is one of my idols. She is opinionated, outspoken and very personal in whatever she writes. I love the fact that she is so her-self and that's what I most admire about her.

- Novel Nymph or my long-lost sister. She's probably the upgraded version of myself, we have SO much in common, we even dream of similar things, it's incredible. She inspires me in what she writes because it's the kind of thing that I'd like to write, the themes are all there. So when I read the poems and the scribblings it always makes me think.

- Finn Bell and his loiterings make me think because he keeps asking difficult questions. It's funny because sometimes he gets me thinking about the things that I don't want to think about and that's important too. He's a man on a quest and quests make us think, don't they?

- Finally, Kimananda in her rare posts usually takes me into a different world. I know how much she makes me think by the size of my comments in her blog. lol It's different from Novel Nymph's blog, for instance, because here it's the different ideas, the other perspective that makes me think. For example, why didn't I ever think of naming my seminar? It needed a name!

Rules for the awarded:
1) If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think
2) Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme.
3) Optional: Proudly display the 'Thinking Blogger Award' with a link to the post that you wrote.

Congratulations! If it were conducted by vote like the Oscars you would surely get my vote.

PS: Thank YOU! Yes, they are goooood ;)

Eric: Oh thanks! You know you make me think too, and you can also see that by the size of my comments on your blog. I don't write there 'just because'...:)

Thank you! It makes me glad to know my ramblings aren't entirely lost.

I shall be distracted again from tomorrow as Champignons League starts up again...will you still be watching?

Who is your pick now?

Devil Mood said...

FB: You're welcome!
Yes, I'll be watching the Champignons but I'm not too excited about it. I hope the best team wins. I think it'll probably be Man Utd, but that's just me ;)

I can absolutely see why you won this award -
you are so layered and curious and
open to movement and spiritual quests -
you are also childlike in your meanderings which
is essential to this award...
I got some too! From Vesper and Regina Claire -
so now i have to post my five and
(groan)
figure out how the heck to get that little link on
my post....

off to check your links...:)

Meow: Thank you, thank you! :)

Maddy: Yes, I saw you did - on Vesper's blog :) I didn't award you because your blog makes me FEEL more than think. But if there was an award for feeling, it would be yours. Just copy the image to your images and post, just like any other picture, okay?

Oh this is simply wonderful!
How proud you must be!! You said:
To tell you the truth I don't think I've ever gotten an award in my life.
And to not only receive one of your only awards, but to win one for writing. Writing and being a thinker!
Glad to meet you!

Thank you! I suppose this means that I should post something again sometime? Well, I'm almost back with internet access at least (didn't have too much on my road trip these last couple of weeks, and the same for the next few days) and Tristino is almost a fully-formed adult thesis, so it could happen. And does this mean I get to give 5 awards out too? Neat! I'll be back to catch up with you and your blog soon!

Guinevere: Yes, I was really happy, because this is a meaningful award - it's not a physical award but that doesn't matter. Nice to meet you too.

Kim: Hey, you're back!! I'm glad! Yes, I think you should write more, but I'm confident your periods of blog reclusion are good for your subsequent posts :)
Yes, you can give awards too! Oh and I went to Ribeira! (see below)
