January, huh?

No, today wasn't January.

It was May, perhaps April. Glorious sun shining everywhere you went. And it wasn't even cold. It was the kind of Sun that needs you to take off the Winter garments and use a strong hat.

It was the kind of Sun that takes you to a new season in your mind; you feel different, yesterday was ages ago. It almost smelled of Spring.

Oh I'm envious of your lovely warm sun! Did you see the photo on my latest post? It was taken today too . . . not exactly warm and sunny here.

Yes, it was quite snowy. I'm hoping you can get a little spring feeling vicariously, at least...

That sounds lovely! It's been a mild winter here as well, all things considered, but not like May at all.
So, it's good to enjoy real warmth via your post and photo. :-)

Oh, so true!!! Here, my family and I, had a lovely day by the San Francisco piers...
We sat in a lovely restaurant overlooking Golden Gate bridge and Alcatraz island, and it felt like Spring :)

Oh, WE got your winter weather here - it was rainy, windy and in the teens. I'll return it as soon as possible, in exchange for our mis-placed summer weather :)

...and I was running this morning in something like -16C weather!!! Then I actually gave my company their money's worth for a change. And later on I read more and more and more of your posts. I ended up doing a lightning cruise--widely, randomly reading all the way back to July 2005! Your style to me is relaxing-with-best-friends-by-the-fire-with-tea-and-eternal-hope! You're consistent. You are you. And you is very good!

"Im as restless as a willow in a windstorm,
Im as jumpy as a puppet on a string,
Id say that I had spring fever,
But I know it isnt spring"

you are describing a day which for me in England would be around end of March..as it is, the spring is still snuggly curled up under the soil and deep within the trunks of trees. However, lets not be depressed!..someday soon, thanks to global warming, it'll be summer time all year long!!

Stephanie: I know, I've been watching the Australian Open - it's right there next to you ;)

MissAlister: Really? You did that? That's so sweet of you! :) I like that view on my style. I don't really know how it is anymore. My last posts have been different. But I hope you enjoyed the trip on my memory lane. hehe That's COLD!!

Niall: Ok, now I'm depressed! Thanks! ;)
